Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is a university located in Kumasi, Ghana. It is the second public university established in the country.
The vision of KNUST is to be globally recognised as the Premier Centre of excellence in Africa for teaching in Science and Technology for development producing high calibre graduates with knowledge and expertise to support the industrial and socio-economic development of Ghana and Africa.

Three WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and
Integrated Science), and CREDITS in THREE WASSCE/SSSCE Elective Subjects
International Baccalaureate holders should have a minimum of grade 4 at the Higher Level in Three Subjects relevant to the Programme of choice and minimum of grade 5 in Chemistry for Health and Allied Sciences. For Engineering at least, grade 5 at the Higher level in Mathematics. In addition, one must have a minimum of grade 4 in English Language and

A number of Private Hostels are available around the campus and in Kumasi for students who, as a result of the limited facilities/rooms could not be admitted as resident students
The Dining halls of the six halls of residence offer a variety of dishes and snacks at affordable prices to students

The commercial area houses a pool of banks, a post office and well-resourced bookshop printing and photocopy shops
All the six halls on campus have wi-fi installations
