    American International University West Africa is a Gambian private university that was established in the year 2011, the university is located in one of the country’s largest towns Banjul.

    AIUWA provide health science trainings and is committed to deliver quality education, innovation to its graduates. The school aims for excellence in the health sector throught excellence, creativity and a compassionate approach. With 6 colleges ( medicine, the nursing, dentistry...) and a fully equiped campus (accomodation, labs, restaurants....) , the goal is to provide students with an oustanding environement and learning experience

    The University is open to students from Africa. AIU Health Science Center consists of 5 colleges:

    College of Medicine (6 year Program)
    College of Dentistry (5 year program),
    College of Pharmacy (5 year program)
    College of Nursing (3 year program)

    College of Health Professionals: MLT (2 year program) with
    Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS):
    Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
    Pharmacy Technician (PTech)
    Dental Assistant (DA)

    Food :
    Food costs include Breakfast and Dinner Monday-Saturday only.

    Logement : The university accommodations for students are available at university approved location. Only accommodation confirmed before the start of the Trimester shall be allotted. Due to limited availability, accommodation is not guaranteed to all students. Priority is given to new students.
    All utilities are not included. All rooms and apartments have fans, en-suit bathrooms, beds and mattresses and 24 hour security.

    Different sizes of rooms are allocated as per availability. Single rooms house 2 students and apartments consisting of 2 rooms house 4 students. Request for single occupancy rooms shall be entertained only with availability.
